Who
are we?

Who are we?

Tudor Park Education Trust was set up in December 2015 with two initial partner schools – Springwest Academy and Logic Studio School. Logic Studio School is a new school which opened in September 2016 on the Tudor Park Education Trust’s site. The Rise is a co-located partner special free school.

The name Tudor Park is rooted in the history of Feltham and the Trust’s offices are housed on the original site of Tudor Grammar School. Further back in history this area was used by the Tudors as one of their hunting grounds. During the world wars, the adjacent Air Park, was a grass airfield in the grounds of Hanworth Park House. In the 1930s, it was best known as a centre for private flying, society events, visits by the Graf Zeppelin airship, and for aircraft manufacture.

The Trust is very rooted in the history of the area and strongly committed to its development; the creation of opportunity for its children and young people in the present and future.

Where do we want to go?

We want to be a collaboration of local schools of all ages and types, working together for the benefit of the individual and the whole.  We will continue to be connected to wider partnerships that are outward looking and energising; influencing the broader educational landscape. We will provide challenge and strong leadership to ensure our vision is achieved.

Why do we do what we do?

We want to see a community that is inspired by, and proud of, the successes and achievements of its schools and children. We know that great teaching makes the greatest difference to the educational outcomes and life chances of children in our community. We are experts in training and growing our teachers. We are committed to inclusion and determined to offer excellence in our provision for children with all ranges of educational needs. We want to make a difference, we want to add value across the spectrum of opportunities. We understand our community and are committed to our partnerships and key relationships.

How do we want to develop and grow?

Slowly and carefully – finding like minded partners rooted in similar values and beliefs. We work closely with our Local feeder Primary schools and the Trust plays a lead role in the new Hounslow Education Partnership of schools.
